Meet our leadership team
We’re experienced educational technology product makers who have helped create many of the most well-known K-12 technology products. We believe if technology isn’t making your job better, it’s just getting in the way. That’s why we take a thoughtful approach to applying technology, always keeping in mind the daily challenges of publishers and educators— including comfort with technology, content creation, complex integration issues and more. The C2C team has developed several award-winning eLearning products for publishers through its parent company, EvoText, a certified Women-owned software business started in March 2012.

Chris has worked in educational technology for almost 20 years. At Follett (formerly Interactive Constructs), he helped develop the Lycea platform, which is still used at Harcourt/Riverdeep, Pearson, Scholastic, Curriculum Associates, and Triumph—serving millions of students. After Follett, Chris joined Curriculum Associates as the Director of Product technologies, where he managed a project to create a cutting-edge interactive educational product (i-Ready), lead the charge in re-designing and engineering the company’s e-commerce website, and developed the company’s first Content Management System. Chris then brought his expertise to Digitas, where he expanded the business with existing clients by presenting new technology ideas, strategies and capabilities. In 2012, he used his wealth of experience and entrepreneurial spirit to start EvoText with Johanna Wetmore to address the shortfalls he saw in educational software and “solve as many of the digital classroom and eLearning content problems as we can.” Since then, the company has grown tenfold and the products EvoText has created for clients are used by more than 8 million educators and students. Chris holds Bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering and English from the University of Massachusetts.
